Just a Few Sketches

I've been trying to use up the scraps from a Fancy Pants kit and I just can't seem to use it all! I looked online for a few sketches to use, and here is what I made:

Birds of A Feather Spring Fling Crop

Hi all! I just finished all these wonderful projects, inspired by the challenges on the Birds of A Feather forum... take a look!

This first group of cards was inspired by the challenge to "go green" by upcycling packaging. I had a Making Memories mini embellishment kit, and I used the backing on the packaging for the first 3 cards... the next two were just using up the rest of the embellishments in the kit. The only thing I had left over was ribbon!

This card was created for the challenge to make a shaped card - no squares or rectangles allowed!

This was a challenge to be inspired by the song "A Few of My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music:

This was created for a challenge to be inspired by a photo of a robin's egg nest:

This challenge was to use pastel colors and have a photo in the shape of an oval:

This challenge was to use at least 10 flowers on your layout, one of which had to be homemade:

And these last two pages are a two-page spread created for a recipe challenge. I had to use 5 photos, ribbon, flowers, chipboard, and 3 patterned papers.

Birds of a Feather March Layouts

Every month Birds of a Feather has five different layout challenges to get your creative juices flowing. I had a great time working on this month's challenges, take a look!

Photography Challenge (use the macro setting on your camera) (used sketch from Pagemaps)

Use Your Stash Challenge: Create a page using only scraps except for the background paper, and make at least one embellishment from your scraps. This was using the leftovers from a Fancy Pants page kit, and the flower is my embellishment.

Journalling Challenge: Tell us how lucky you are, and journal in the shape of something...

Queen of Hearts Crop

Last weekend I participated in an online crop at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking... here are the fabulous creations I came up with!

This first one was a recipe challenge... I had to use 4 photos, handwritten journalling, and a heart.


This next one I had to use the word LOVE somewhere in the title or journalling...



And this last one I had to use a paper folding technique...
