Welcome to the Counterfeit Kit blog hop, and thank you for visiting my blog! If you get lost along the way, or happened to randomly find my blog, you can start the hop here.
Our assignment for the blog hop was to do a project based on this exclusive sketch by Sketch Support Challenge blog.
It's been a long time since I've done a two page layout, so this was a little scary for me at first! I love the sketches at Sketch Support though, because they give you basic measurements for the elements in the sketch. You are free to follow the measurements or get as creative as you want with it! They even give you suggestions on how to change up the sketches on their blog... I think it's great! Anyway, I used green cardstock as the base and scrounged around in my kit to find these Echo Park papers that would work for these dimensions. I added a couple flowers, some buttons, letter stickers for my title, and a circle rub-on to frame the title.
Here's a close up of the first page...
and a close up of the second page.
I apologize for the bad pictures of my layouts... it's been rainy here all day and we've been preparing for Irene to hit us tomorrow so I haven't had a chance to get pictures in good light.
Okay, well thank you again for visiting my blog! Your next stop on the blog hop is Milissa!
Hope Irene doesn't hit too hard. Love those papers and how you have used them to bring your multicoloured photos together.
ReplyDeleteSuper page - that circle rub-on complements the arches on the border and the curves of theat fun play pool. Lovely summery pages.

Wonderful job w/ the sketch! I love your paper choices too - EP's For the Record is one of my faves. That blowup pool brings back so many memories...my son used to have one, and it took SO long to pump it up - but he had lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteAwesome layout. You did a fantastic job on this 2 pager. Hope you made it through the storm safe.

ReplyDeleteHope you made it through the hurricane without damage. Your pages look great! Is the circle around your title a stamp? a rub-on? Or free-handed? It looks neat!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun!! The colors from your kit are perfect for these photos!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors! And un-sketch related - I LOVE your owls on your website!!! :D
